Typical weather: highs in the 70s° F, lows in the 60s°F. Fairly Dry
Point Schedules:
There are 2 travel periods in April. The highest point requirement is April 1-3. While the rest of the month is the 2nd-highest point requirement.
With the exception of the 3‑Bedroom Cottage, guests seeking reservations during this period will find that nearly all room types become available at the standard seven‑month booking window.
Inn Rooms- Inn Rooms are situated in the resort’s main lobby building and offer a hotel-like experience with comfortable furnishings and convenient access to lobby amenities. These rooms can be booked with both the 11-month and 7-month advance reservation windows, giving members flexible planning options. Standard views are generally more readily available than Ocean view rooms, so guests seeking a seaside view should book early.
Studios—Studios should have no difficulty securing reservations at the 11-, 7-, and even some 5-month booking windows for many weeks.1 1-Bedroom- 1-bedroom villas should be available at both the 11-month and 7-month booking windows. After those windows pass, securing reservations becomes noticeably more difficult and often requires greater flexibility with dates or resort choice.
2-Bedroom- Vero offers 2-bedroom units in both Lock-off and Dedicated configurations. Both types should show vacancy when booking during the 11-month and 7-month reservation windows.
Cottages- Multi-story units featuring three bedrooms and ocean views. You can generally expect availability at the 11-month booking window, with somewhat reduced options at the 7-month mark; if you don’t reserve one quickly at 7 months, they’re likely to be gone before long.

DVC Field Guide has captured booking patterns for every DVC resort/accommodation over the last 7 years. Understanding the booking patterns of Disney Vacation Club resorts can be a powerful tool when planning future stays. By knowing which resorts, room types, and travel dates tend to book first—and when availability is most likely to open up—members can make more informed, strategic reservation decisions. This insight helps guide when to book, whether to rely on the 11-month home resort window or the 7-month window, how to choose backup options, and how to maximize flexibility with room types and travel dates. Using booking patterns thoughtfully can reduce stress, improve availability outcomes, and ultimately lead to more successful and satisfying DVC vacations.
The tables below illustrate the average number of consecutive days available for booking a designated accommodation over a week, based on data collected over the past seven years. These availability figures align with what is displayed when searching for a unit on the DVC website. To make the data easily interpretable, a traditional red-and-green light format is used: green indicates the highest availability, while any number below 7 indicates limited availability and signals caution. A total of seven means that every day of the week is available for booking.
