Vero Beach Resort

Disney's Vero Beach Resort was the second DVC resort to open and the first located away from a Disney theme park. Located about 100 miles from Walt Disney World, this charming resort offers 175 accommodations at a beach in Disney's backyard. The resort also has some of the lowest points/night of any DVC resort. The large rooms and varied room inventory are a plus. The Inn rooms are located in the main house, while the Deluxe Studios and One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom Villas are situated in three villa buildings away from the lobby. There is limited covered parking underneath each of them. The Three-Bedroom Cottages have breathtaking ocean views from your very own balcony.

Vero Beach Resort has its own nine-hole miniature golf course, tennis courts, and an on-site spa, plus the kids will love the pool area. There are local off-site activities such as fishing and golfing. The resort is a great place to spend the night before a cruise or a quick beach getaway and break from Walt Disney World crowds.

Room Descriptions

Inn Rooms

Inn Rooms are one-room units that accommodate up to four people. Vero Beach has 115 of these rooms in inventory. The Inn rooms are in the main building and are similar to a large hotel room. Room views can be picked (standard-48 units or ocean view-67 units) for these accommodations. On average, ocean views require 10% higher points per night than the standard. Both views have two queen-size beds and a small kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and small refrigerator. The bathroom has a single sink and a combination tub and shower.

Studios

Studios are one-room units that accommodate up to four people. Vero Beach has 36 of these rooms in inventory. The 375 square foot units are located in the three villa buildings. The rooms have a single queen bed and a double-size pull down Murphy bed/sofa. It has a kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and small refrigerator. The bathroom has a single sink and a combination tub and shower.

One-Bedroom Villas

One-Bedroom Villas are two-room units that sleep up to five people. These One-Bedroom units are some of the largest at any DVC resort at 880 square feet. The 36 rooms at Vero Beach have a master bedroom with a king-size bed in a separate bedroom. In the living room, there is a queen-size pull-down Murphy bed/sofa and a sleeper chair. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer. The Villa has one bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub.

Two-Bedroom Villas

Two-Bedroom Villas are three-room units. There are 54 units made up of 36 lock-offs and 18 dedicated.

The lock-off units combine a studio and a One-Bedroom, so they have a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a double-size pull-down Murphy bed/sofa. In the living room, there is a queen-size pull-down Muprhy bed/sofa and a sleeper chair. There are two bathrooms, the master has a walk-in shower and tub, and the second bedroom has a tub/shower combination.

The dedicated units also sleep nine and have the same sleeping accommodations and bathroom floor plans. The Dedicated Two-Bedrooms will only have one entrance to the Villa, whereas the lock-off will have two separate entrances.

Both unit types have a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and two balconies.

Cottages (3 Bedroom)

Beach Cottages are Six beach front units that sleep up to twelve people and are 2,125 square feet in size. Each Three-Bedroom accommodation has a master bedroom with a tub and shower in a dedicated bathroom. The other two bedrooms have two queen-size beds in each and their own bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. These units are two-story, with all the bedrooms downstairs and the living room and full-sized kitchen being upstairs.

Villa Views/Types/Locations

The only view choices are in the Deluxe Inn category. These rooms are in the Inn building, the central location of the resort. The views are either standard or ocean view. The villa buildings are located on either side of the main building but away from the beach. The villa views will be hit or miss but will include buildings, landscaping, a pool, or a partial ocean view. The Cottages are all beach front with a sweeping view of the Atlantic Ocean from the upper balcony.
