Weather: Hot, Humid, and Stormy
Expect typical central Florida summer weather:
Highs: 91–94°F (33–34°C)

Studios
Studio availability continues to show a clear separation between room categories. Resort View and Savanna View Studios remain excellent options at the 7-month window, with Savanna View Studios frequently maintaining full-week availability throughout much of August despite their popularity. Resort View Studios also perform exceptionally well, making Jambo House one of the more accessible resorts for standard studio reservations. In contrast, Value Studios and Kilimanjaro Club Concierge Studios remain among the most difficult accommodations in Disney Vacation Club due to their extremely limited inventory and strong owner demand.
1-Bedroom Villas
One-Bedroom Villas remain one of Jambo House's strongest accommodation categories. Resort View and Savanna View villas consistently provide excellent booking opportunities at both the 11- and 7-month windows, with many weeks still supporting full-week reservations even after home resort priority has ended. 2-Bedroom Villas

Resort View Studios also remain readily available throughout August, making Kidani Village one of the easiest resorts to reserve a studio during one of the year's busiest travel seasons.
1-Bedroom Villas
One-Bedroom Villas remain one of Kidani Village's greatest strengths. Both Resort View and Savanna View villas consistently maintain exceptional availability throughout August, with many weeks continuing to support full-week reservations even at seven months. Among all Walt Disney World resorts, Kidani Village remains one of the most reliable destinations for members seeking a one-bedroom villa during peak summer travel.
2-Bedroom Villas
Two-Bedroom Villas continue to perform exceptionally well across every category. Dedicated villas show particularly strong availability throughout the summer, while Lock-Off villas experience only modest declines as the booking window shortens. Deluxe Studios
Deluxe Studios remain among the most difficult accommodations to reserve anywhere in Disney Vacation Club. Although Beach Club Villas has 110 studios, demand consistently exceeds supply throughout the summer. Full-week availability is rarely seen once the 7-month booking window opens, and reservations often become unavailable almost immediately. Members hoping to reserve a studio should be prepared with alternate resorts or travel dates.
1-Bedroom Villas
One-Bedroom Villas continue to be the strongest-performing accommodation at Beach Club Villas. Deluxe Studios & Resort Studios
Studio availability continues to favor the newer Resort Studios. Resort Studio Preferred View accommodations consistently offer outstanding availability throughout August, while Resort View and Theme Park View Resort Studios also remain among the easiest premium studio reservations in Disney Vacation Club. The original Deluxe Studios become considerably more competitive because of their smaller inventories, particularly the Preferred View category with just 17 villas. Members booking at seven months will significantly improve their chances by selecting one of the Resort Studio categories whenever possible.
1-Bedroom Villas

Home resort owners should have little difficulty reserving any accommodation type at the 11-month booking window, while members booking at seven months also enjoy excellent availability across nearly every standard villa category. Standard accommodations consistently outperform the Near Hospitality House categories, whose much smaller inventories make them noticeably more competitive. Overall, Old Key West remains one of the most accessible Disney Vacation Club resorts for members booking without home resort priority.
Deluxe Studios
Standard Deluxe Studios continue to provide excellent summer availability. With an inventory of 192 studios, full-week reservations remain common throughout August, even after the seven-month booking window opens. Near Hospitality House Studios, however, become considerably more competitive because only 38 are available and many members prefer the convenience of being within walking distance of the Hospitality House, feature pool, dining, and transportation. Members who are flexible on location will dramatically improve their booking success by selecting the standard Studio category.
1-Bedroom Villas
One-Bedroom Villas remain one of Old Key West's greatest strengths. The standard category consistently demonstrates outstanding availability throughout August and frequently maintains full-week reservations well beyond the seven-month booking window. Near Hospitality House One-Bedroom Villas remain more competitive because of their smaller inventory, but they still provide better booking opportunities than similarly sized preferred-location accommodations at many other Disney Vacation Club resorts.
2-Bedroom Villas
Two-Bedroom Villas continue to offer exceptional booking opportunities throughout the summer. Both Dedicated and Lock-Off Villas maintain excellent availability at seven months, with the standard categories benefiting from inventories approaching or exceeding 200 villas. Near Hospitality House accommodations become noticeably more competitive because of their limited numbers, but they continue to outperform many preferred-location accommodations across the Disney Vacation Club system. Members requiring a larger villa will find Old Key West to be one of the easiest resorts to reserve during the summer.
3-Bedroom Grand Villas
Old Key West continues to be one of the premier resorts for Grand Villa availability. With 25 standard Grand Villas, it has one of the largest Grand Villa inventories in Disney Vacation Club, allowing strong availability throughout August even at the seven-month booking window. By comparison, the two Near Hospitality House Grand Villas remain among the rarest accommodations in the system and are exceptionally difficult to reserve. Members planning a Grand Villa stay will generally find the standard category readily attainable while recognizing that the Near Hospitality House location should be considered a specialty accommodation.
Polynesian
Overall Summary
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows now consists of two distinct Disney Vacation Club offerings: the original Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and the Island Tower. The original resort continues to demonstrate predictable booking patterns and offers some of the strongest Studio availability among the Magic Kingdom resorts, while the Bora Bora Bungalows remain surprisingly accessible because of their high point requirements. The Island Tower, which opened in late 2024, is still establishing long-term booking trends. Because Disney continues to declare additional inventory as points are sold, current availability should be viewed as an early snapshot rather than a permanent pattern. Members should expect booking trends to continue evolving as the resort matures.
Original Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Deluxe Studios
The original Polynesian continues to offer some of the strongest Studio availability on the Magic Kingdom monorail. Resort View Studios, supported by an inventory of 288 villas, consistently provide excellent booking opportunities at the seven-month window and remain considerably easier to reserve than Studios at Bay Lake Tower or Grand Floridian. Preferred View Studios, while more limited, generally follow similar booking patterns and remain realistic reservations for members who book promptly.
Bungalows
The 20 Bora Bora Bungalows continue to be one of Disney Vacation Club's most unique accommodations. Despite their limited inventory, they consistently maintain exceptional availability because of their very high point requirements. Full-week reservations remain common at both the 11- and 7-month booking windows, and availability often extends well beyond many standard villa categories. Members with sufficient points will often find a Bungalow easier to reserve than many Studios or One-Bedroom Villas throughout the Disney Vacation Club system.
Island Tower
Note: Island Tower availability should continue to be interpreted with caution. The resort has only recently entered the Disney Vacation Club system, and Disney continues to declare additional villas into inventory as direct sales progress. These observations are based on a relatively small number of booking cycles and will likely evolve as additional inventory becomes available.
Duo Studios
Duo Studios continue to be among the most competitive accommodations in the Island Tower. Resort View Duo Studios offer the best availability of the three view categories, while the Preferred View and Premium View categories become extremely difficult to reserve because only four and seven villas exist, respectively. Members interested in a Duo Studio should plan to reserve immediately when their booking window opens.
Deluxe Studios
Island Tower Deluxe Studios remain considerably more competitive than the original Polynesian Studios because of their much smaller inventories. Resort View Studios consistently provide the best booking opportunities, while Preferred View and Theme Park View Studios become increasingly difficult after the seven-month booking window opens. Members without home resort priority should expect substantially stronger booking success at the original Polynesian than within the Island Tower.
1-Bedroom Villas
Current data continues to suggest that One-Bedroom availability varies primarily by inventory size rather than view. Theme Park View Villas consistently perform well because of their comparatively larger inventory, while the smaller Resort View and Preferred View categories become noticeably more competitive as booking windows shorten.
