One of the differences between a DVC resort and a regular hotel room is that housekeeping won’t be coming by your room every day to clean it. In fact, in a one-week stay, you can expect only one visit from housekeeping. If you find you need additional full cleaning or towels, there are other services that you can request, but they will cost you.

Housekeeping Items In Your Room

There are housekeeping items in your room to supplement some quick cleaning while you are between your housekeeping days. For One-Bedroom, Two-Bedroom, and Grand Villas, these items are:

• Broom

• Vacuum Cleaner

• Dust Pan

• Mop

• Laundry Detergent

• Dishwashing Detergent

• Iron and Ironing Board

• Laundry Basket

These units also have a dishwasher and a washer/dryer right in the room.

For Studios, the list includes are:

• Vacuum Cleaner

• Iron and Ironing Board

These units do not have a dishwasher or washer/dryer in the room.

There is a 24-hour self-service laundry located in the resort. And the villa has access to dry-cleaning and valet laundry services.

Trash and Towel Service

For stays for seven or fewer nights, housekeeping will provide a trash and towel service on day four. This is regardless if you are using points or on a cash reservation or a combination of both. The service includes:

• Empty the trash and replace the liners in the trash bins.

• Provide new towels and any other bathroom linens.

• Replace any shampoo or other bathroom amenities

• Replenish toilet paper and facial tissues

• Replenish paper towels

• Replace dish washing liquid, dish washing detergent, sponges, and laundry detergent

• Replenish coffee, sugar, cream, and sweeteners

Full Cleaning

If your vacation stay in the same room is eight or more days, then housekeeping will provide a complete cleaning service on day four. A thorough cleaning includes the trash and towel service along with:

• Change all bed linens

• Vacuum and dust service

• Clean all bathrooms

• Clean the kitchen or kitchenette

• Wash any dishes

Trash and towel service only will be available on day 8. If you stay longer, then the full/trash and towel service will cycle back around with a complete cleaning on day 12 and trash and towel service on day 16.

Regardless of the stay length, housekeeping will provide daily trash removal.

Additional Full Cleaning, Trash And Towel Services

If you want any additional housekeeping or trash and towel services, you can request it for the days you want it. Full cleaning is available for each villa or studio and can be asked for any day of your stay. The per-day price is:

• Deluxe Studio $30

• One-Bedroom villa $45

• Two-Bedroom villa $60

• Three-Bedroom Grand Villa $75

Guests can also request additional trash and towel service. Prices are:

• Deluxe Studio $10

• One-Bedroom villa $15

• Two-Bedroom villa $20

• Three-Bedroom Grand Villa $30

Additional Amenities

DVC does offer other amenities that guests can currently get a no additional charge. Until recently, there was a charge for these services, but now, they can be requested free of charge:

• Towel Package-4 clean bath towels, 2 clean hand towels, 4 washcloths, and a bathmat

• Laundry Detergent

• Coffee Package-1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 sweeteners.

Kitchen items such as paper towels, paper plates, plasticware, and detergent are available toilet paper, and facial tissues. These items are provided at no additional cost.
