Disney’s
Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village was opened in May 2009 as a complete DVC-only resort. The 324 villas were added to the 134 existing units at Jambo house and made Animal Kingdom Villas the third-largest DVC resort at Walt Disney World. The lodge is designed by Peter Dominick, who also designed Jambo House. Although the style is similar, the Kidani Village lobby is much smaller and cozier than Jambo House's massive main hall. The DVC rooms are located on floors two-five, with floor one serving partially as a parking garage. The lodge has two Savannas (Pembe and Sunset) that provide a home for 200 animals and over 100 birds. These animals can be viewed at any time from the balcony of your savanna view resort and the common areas within the lodge. Printed wildlife field guides showing the African wildlife on the savannas and are in your room and available at the front desk.
