DVC Purchase Model
The model's purpose is to make a comparison between your current vacation cost and a Disney Vacation Club membership. You have two options to input your current Disney vacation cost.
First, the model will automatically calculate the current hotel rates if you're comparing a Walt Disney World vacation and staying at Disney hotels. The model includes daily hotel rates for over 200 room choices at Walt Disney World and point schedules for every DVC accommodation.
Second, the model has been recently modified to include an option for users to input their current vacation costs. You are no longer limited to a Disney World vacation at a Disney hotel to compare your DVC membership. With greater flexibility, you can input a current Disneyland, Hawaii, or any other location into the model.
Additionally, if you currently take a Disneyworld vacation but don't stay on Disney property, you can still include your vacation cost. The model runs on Excel, which means that you must have a software copy of the program.
