Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Boulder Ridge Villas is a stand-alone DVC resort built next to Wilderness Lodge. The Villas opened November 15, 2000, as The Villas at Wilderness Lodge. The name was changed to Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge in 2016 to distinguish it from the new Copper Creek DVC resort, also at Wilderness Lodge. Guests who have reservations at Wilderness Lodge may be paying cash for hotel rooms or be staying at two different DVC resorts. Unlike Animal Kingdom Jambo House and Kidani Village, which are next door to each other but share home resort privileges, Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek are independent DVC Resorts. Both resorts require similar points for each night's stay. Boulder Ridge was the third DVC resort at Walt Disney World to open with only 136 rooms. The contract end date is January 31, 2042.
