The Villas at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa opened on October 23, 2013, with 100 rooms. Built in the same Victorian style as the main hotel and inspired by the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, the DVC branch boasts the most luxurious accommodations of any DVC resort. Also, it has some of the largest rooms by category in the entire DVC portfolio. The point costs are on the high end, as one would expect based on the villa offerings. The resort is located on the Monorail Loop and is the last stop before the Magic Kingdom.

DVC announced expansion at the resort in May of 2021. There will be 200 studios located in the existing Big Pine Key building at the resort. These studios will be called resort studios and, unlike most studio accommodations, have two queen beds in the room and a day bed to accommodate five guests. The point charts are the same as the existing Grand Floridian studios. The opening is expected in the summer, 2022.
