What to expect in a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) sales presentation.

DVC Sales Presentations Are Not Typical Timeshare Presentations

A DVC sales presentation is not like the high-pressure timeshare presentation you've gone through before. DVC timeshare presentations are usually low-pressure and informative. Setting up an appointment to review the DVC material can be done in a variety of ways. One of the most common is to schedule a tour with someone at a DVC Kiosk. These are located at every Disney theme park, resort, and Disney Springs. These cast members are set up to discuss DVC basics with you, provide you with DVC literature and answer any questions. Their primary mission is to get you to schedule a tour at a preview center. If you decide to go on a tour, they'll set up the time for you.

Since COVID, DVC has also been using individual room tours at its Resorts and depending less and less on the preview center appointments. You should check with the guide at the kiosk at the parks or resorts for more up-to-date information.

DVC Sales Preview Centers

On the day of your tour, DVC will provide transportation to a preview center. For guests at Walt Disney World, the preview center is at Saratoga Springs Resort. If you are in Disneyland, there is a new center at Downtown Disney. There is a supervised Kid's clubhouse to occupy the children. A DVC van will pick you up at your resort and bring you to the preview center.

DVC Preview Centers are also located at Aulani, and if you are on a Disney Cruise, you can take an hour or so and schedule a DVC presentation.

DVC Sales Presentations

The DVC Preview Center's sales presentation will be a one to two-hour, personalized presentation by a DVC representative, your "Guide." At the preview center, there will be light snacks for everyone upon arrival. The tour may vary from here, but you typically watch a short video and then spend time discussing DVC ownership with your Guide. At the preview center, you'll have a chance to walk through some of the resorts' full-scale models and ask any questions you may have.

Typically, DVC is offering some incentives to entice current offerings. DVC does offer to finance, and the Guide will go over that with you if needed. If you purchase a DVC membership at that time, then DVC requires a 10% down payment.

The Guide may provide some thank-you for taking the tour. These are usually in a Disney gift card or other gifts. At the end of the presentation, guests will be treated to an abundance of ice cream and toppings. Transportation will be provided back to your resort or a park by a DVC van driver.
