Which 2 Bedrooms are the hardest to book?

For Two-Bedroom Villas, availability is usually driven by a low number of units in that accommodation. This is true of the most problematic units to reserve. There are only five Kilimanjaro Club rooms and only ten value units at Animal Kingdom Villa. Both are in high demand as well because they are indeed a unique DVC experience. The club rooms are the only concierge-level rooms in DVC, and the value rooms are by far the cheapest Two-Bedroom units. Neither are likely to be available at seven months as the owners at Animal Kingdom will gobble these up.

Two-Bedroom Lock-Off Vs. Dedicated Availability

There are two kinds of Two-Bedroom units--Dedicated and Lock-offs. Dedicated villas are built to house only a Two-bedroom villa, while lock-off units are made up of a connecting Studio and a One-Bedroom Villa. As a general rule, Lock-Offs have lower availability than the same booking as dedicated units. 18 of the top 20 most challenging to get rooms are lock-offs. It shouldn’t be a surprise when considering that both the Studio and the One-Bedroom have to be open for a lock-off to be available. Since Studios have the highest demand and book up first, it leaves them unavailable to match up with the One-Bedroom Villa to form the lock-off.
