DVC Kitchens

Kitchen Grand Villa-Riviera Resort

One of the attractions of a DVC Villa is the kitchen. Except for Studios, all DVC accommodations have a full kitchen. While cooking on vacation does not appeal to everyone, having a kitchen has advantages, even if you don't cook a meal there. On the other hand, many guests don't mind cooking a few meals to help save money on their Disney visits. Here's a tour of what you can expect in a DVC Kitchen.

A full kitchen is in every DVC One, Two, and Three bedrooms unit. DVC resorts will have different floor plans and vary in size, but all kitchens will have a full-size stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Also adjoined to the kitchen is a separate dining area.

Studio units don't have a kitchen but will have a microwave, a sink, a coffeemaker, a toaster, and a small refrigerator. Studios will not have a dishwasher. There will be a kitchenette and are usually a counter top with a sink and shelves to store items attached to the wall. The Bay Lake Tower studio is the one exception. These rooms are split, almost like a separate kitchen area. Studio kitchenette units are not a large part of the room and don't have all the conveniences of the full-size kitchens in One, Two, or Three-Bedroom Villas.

An amenity list of items you should find in your room and kitchen is available. Should guests see any of the things missing or damaged, they can contact housekeeping for a replacement.

Most One and Two Bedroom Villas will have the same quantity of items even though the One Bedroom unit sleeps four or five while two-bedroom Villas sleep eight to ten. A One-Bedroom kitchen will become a Two-Bedroom kitchen when a studio is combined to make a lock-off.
